Ranč Mrcina

WHO WE ARE

Mrcina Ranch is located in Triglav National Park, in the village of Studor in Bohinj. Studor is one of the oldest villages in Bohinj and was founded at the foot of the mighty Studor hill. In front of the village stands a group of well-known “toplar” hayracks (double hayracks). In the village, you’ll find a few very old houses with beautiful wooden balconies (“ganki”), the Oplen House Museum, and farms where you can treat yourself to Bohinj local specialties.

The ranch is home to 13–16 horses (ten of them Icelandic horses), a bunch of cats, and a dog named Kan. Horses are wonderful and noble animals; we’ve been getting to know each other and learning from one another since 1999.
