The trail takes us along the field below Srednja vas village, where the local people regularly care for fields, hayracks and nearby meadows. The trail takes us past the Senožeta ski centre to Češnjica village where we turn and in a circular route return to the ranch.

The trail takes us to Studor, where we can see many old houses (some of them still have a black kitchen), past the Pri Odoljnjek Farm, where the owners make home made dairy and meat products. Along the path, which the locals call “Za zidam”, the trail leads to Stara Fužina, i.e. to St Paul’s Church from 1865. If you are an experienced rider, we can also continue to Hudičev most (Devil’s Bridge) and to the start of the Mostnica Gorge.

Riding to the nearby hill is appropriate for beginners and experienced riders. Past the hayracks and the Senožeta Ski Centre, you can enjoy in the views of the upper and lower part of the Bohinj Valley. From the top, you can also see the Bohinj and Tolmin mountain range in the south, and Triglav, Slovenia’s highest mountain, in the north.

We can stop for a rest in the upper part of the valley and then continue on foot to Mostnica, or we can enjoy a lunch at the local inn or a home-made strudel (upon prior agreement) at the Planinska koča Voje mountain hut.

The route takes us across Senožeta with beautiful views of the surrounding hills, further on to the lower valley and back up across the Dobrava meadows. We can see the Bistrica Spring on Dobrava. We continue past Hanssen Ski Jump from 1929 and to Lake Bohinj. The route takes us back to the ranch.

Picturesque pastures stretch above the upper valley and in summer, cattle graze there and dairy products are still produced in alpine cottages. First, we climb to the Uskovnica Pasture and continue through the Pokluka forests to Praprotnica Pasture and the famous Zajamniki Pasture, which inspire us with magnificent views. This s a tour where you can fill your lungs with fresh alpine air. If agreed in advance, we can make a stop at an alpine herdsman, where we can taste cheese, cottage cheese and much more.

Multi-day tours are a special experience. The tour is prepared according to our agreement. For experienced riders, the average ride per day lasts from 5 to 8 hours.
