In addition to trail riding, we offer riding lessons, riding for beginners, and experienced riders. The youngest riders can enjoy a short walk accompanied by our guide (saddles with handles). This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to ride or has always wanted to try but never found the courage or the chance.
Horse riding is a great idea for a family outing. No matter your horse riding experience, our team will expertly prepare you for a one or two-hour adventure in the saddle.
Meet the horse, preparing the horse for a ride: the child learns how to prepare, groom, and saddle the horse. 30 min (includes 10 min of riding).
We offer carriage rides for up to 3 people. We can take you to Lake Bohinj. You can also take a ride in a farm wagon.
Riding Icelandic horses at Ranč Mrcina can be an ideal opportunity for a school sports day. Given the peacefulness, friendliness, and adaptability of the horses, students can quickly go riding in nature.
On summer evenings, we host ‘Štala’ at Ranč Mrcina. In a relaxed and authentic setting, we welcome alpinists, travelers, musicians, and theatrical performances.
The ranch is open all year round, so it is possible to ride even in winter, if snow conditions are suitable.
